Consider the Tree
A tree starts out its life as a seed.
A seed planted into the soil
In the womb of the earth, It’s dark, it’s nutritious, it contains all the nutrients the seed needs to thrive.
A bounty put on by the universe. The seed does nothing except sit.
Roots spring forth from within the seed, the seeds future is within itself, and as it draws from the nutrition provided by the universe through the soil, nourished by the rain, the insects and other plant life. The seed grows.
All the while however, consider the tree. There is no fretting, no worrying, no running around. All the tree does is rest in confident awareness that everything it needs to survive and thrive is within itself and around itself.
Consider the tree. Sit like the tree, make no sound, close your eyes. See in the dark all the nutrition laid on by the universe for your prosperous benefit.
And like the tree, draw from the nutrition all around you.
Consider the tree, from seed to sapling to most magnificent of plants. Littering forests. Standalone anomalies. Thriving in orchards, gardens and lining streets.
Consider the tree thriving in all its magnificence and recognise the universe too is on your side. You too are part of the natural ebb and flow of the universe.
Just like the tree everything you need to survive and thrive is within yourself.
Your destiny differs from the tree, if you were here just to sit around you’d be a tree. So when you sit down – consider the tree. Then recognise the immensity of your unique destiny.
Everything you need to survive and thrive is within you and around about you.
Consider the tree.
